Course Introduction


This course is designed to equip employees with the knowledge and tools necessary to identify and address sexual harassment in the workplace effectively. It fosters a culture of respect and accountability by providing insights into the definitions, preventative measures and legal frameworks. Through interactive discussions and real-life examples, participants will deepen their understanding of the nuances of sexual harassment and explore practical ways to recognise, report, and support colleagues in need. By the end of the training, employees will feel empowered to contribute to a safe and inclusive work environment.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course you will be able to:

  • Define sexual harassment, including the concept of ‘unwanted conduct of a sexual nature.’
  • Understand the term ‘sexual harassment at work’ and dispel common misconceptions about sexual harassment.
  • Recognise the personal, professional, and organisational consequences of sexual harassment, including legal, financial, and reputational risks.
  • Learn effective strategies to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace, fostering a culture of respect and accountability.
  • Analyse risk factors through real-world examples of sexual harassment in the workplace.
